You've been in Lyon for a short time and don't know enough french? It doesn't matter, I can teach you in english (you'll just have to be a bit patient at times, that's all...).
I can teach anyone from age 3 thanks to a great method called MusMat (based on the famous Suzuki method) or through a more traditional approach depending on the pupil.
I've been teaching piano for 9 years and I think my pupils are doing good, especially if they DO practice between lessons. In any case, I believe in relaxation, both physical and mental. To each their own pace. I always point out the good things before taking care of the... less good.
I always find time to play little games so every one is at ease with the piano and gets to know the keys.
If there's still time for it, I squeeze in a bit of sight reading as well, for those who've started to read music.
